It seems to happen every time:
1.) Jalopnik (TTAC and AutoBlog too) post an article about the next generation of a car, accompanied by a photo of the present car.
2.) Numerous people comment on the merits/demerits of the upcoming car based on the photo of the old car.
There's a simple way to deal with this: put a disclaimer at the top of the copy and/or put some text in the photo say "This is not it." That way, we can save a lot of people from much trouble and potential embarrassment.

I doubt it would help. Based on what I read here most people reply without even reading the article.

Oh dear. These commenters need to get out more often to realise that the car has been in production for some time.
